This is Kona.  We’re pretty sure she’s purebred rottweiler, but the rescue we got her from isn’t sure.  The previous owners separated and neither of them wanted her, so they gave her to Recycled Rotts in Illinois.  We drove down to Schaumburg to meet Kona at Happy Paws Pet Resort.  The inset picture above is the result of only about 5 minutes.  She’s very friendly to people.

She’s gotten some obedience training and seems to respond to most of it.  She’s house and crate trained, which is great because we both are out of the house 9-10 hours a day.  Kona has been spayed, so none of you with male rotties should get your hopes up about having little rottie babies with our Kona.
